Providence man injured after tractor trailer rollover in Bourne rotary

BOURNE, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police said a tractor trailer hauling gravel rolled over at the Bourne Rotary Tuesday morning.

Massachusetts State Police shared this photo of the truck that rolled over.

Authorities said the Peterbilt truck operated by a 58-year-old Hyannisport man partially blocked the right travel lane of Route 28.

The 58-year-old sustained suspected minor injuries as did the driver of a smaller transit van, police said.

That 39-year-old man is from Providence, state police confirmed.

One lane into the rotary remains open as the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
