Providence police investigate attempted abduction

Providence police are investigating after a male attempts to abduct a young girl Thursday. 

Police say on August 27th a mother saw an unidentified male try to take her 11 year old daughter after coming through her bedroom window in the Mount Pleasant area of the city.

The suspect took off after the mother reacted by throwing a roll of toilet paper at him.
