Providence police investigate stabbing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Providence police are investigating after a man was stabbed Wednesday.

Police said a 32-year-old man was stabbed outside near Broom and Broad Streets.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.  Authorities said the man was in stable condition at last check.

Providence police said so far, no one has been apprehended. The incident is under investigation.
