PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man was arrested Friday in connection to a string of robberies in Providence, according to authorities.

East Providence Police Lt. Michael Rapoza told ABC 6 News that Kevin Cunha will be facing charges for the burglaries on the East Side.

Rapoza said Cunha, who’s 46 years old, was arrested Wednesday for similar crimes in East Providence.

In East Providence, Cunha is accused of going through cars and stealing items.

He’s being charged with fraudulent use of credit cards, two counts of larceny, and receiving stolen goods.

ABC 6 first learned about the string of burglaries from a viewer, who said that both they and their neighbor had been stolen from.

The viewer told ABC 6 that the man seen in the video was checking car doors and homes.

“He’s hit several houses this past week and has been caught on camera a lot,” the viewer added.
