Providence police investigating purse stolen from Free Play Bar Arcade

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department announced they’re seeking the public’s assistance getting information on a purse that was stolen from Free Play Bar Arcade.

According to police, the theft happened on July 23, at the bar, located at 182 Pine St.

Police shared CCTV video that appears to show a group of people sitting near an employee’s station where a small purse could be seen on a nearby ledge.

Video shows one of the group members grab the purse and it is not seen again for the remainder of the video.
