Providence Police looking to identify bank robbery suspect

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Providence Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect connected to the robbery at the Citizens Bank located at 792 Hope Street.

Police say the robbery happened at 12:03 p.m. Saturday, and bank employees said that the suspect entered into the bank and passed a note to the teller. 

The suspect then stated to the teller to “DO AS THE NOTE SAYS”. 

The subject fled the scene with $3000 U.S currency stolen from the bank. 

According to police, the suspect is described as a black male wearing a yellow t-shirt and a black t-shirt wrapped around his neck.
