Providence Police make an arrest in narcotics investigation

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – After a several months long investigation of a drug distribution at 27 Cromwell Street, The Providence Police Department Narcotics Bureau made an arrest.
Under the command of Captain Kevin Lanni, a warrant was executed for the Cromwell Street residence, and resulted in the seizure of three firearms and narcotics.
35-year-old George Estrella, was charged with numerous narcotics and firearm offenses.
Estrella was in possession of an Arisaka 7.62mm rifle, a Filliietta .44 caliber revolver and a Connecticut Valley Arms Inc .54 caliber rifle.
He was held for the next session of district court.
