Providence police search for 4 men involved in home invasion

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police are searching for four men who they say were involved an armed home invasion Thursday night.

The home invasion happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Cambridge Street.

Police said residents told them that they saw four men in masks enter the home with handguns.

Police said the men pointed the hand at the residents, and proceeded to steal a gold chain, $150.00 in cash, and a cell phone. They then left the home through the basement.

No further information was immediately released.
