Providence police search for suspect in fatal stabbing
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed to death in the city on Wednesday.
Police were called to a home on Sterling Avenue around 3 p.m. and found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The man, 30, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died. His name was not released.

Police blocked off the area for several hours as they investigated the incident.
Neighbors told an ABC 6 News crew on scene they had cameras pointed at the area and that they provided those videos to police.
No arrests were made and the investigation is active.
Police said there is no danger to the public.
