Residents and community leaders are gathering in front of the State House Friday afternoon to demand action for the almost 300 girls kidnapped in Nigeria.

Officials say that back on April 15 more than 230 female students were kidnapped from their school in northeast Nigeria.

The Nigerian Community of Rhode Island, community leaders and lawmakers, and residents in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts are rallying for Nigerian government and military officials to take action to “Bring Back Our Girls”.
