Providence ramen restaurant closes permanently

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Ganko Ittetsu Ramen location in Providence said Sunday that it has closed permanently.
Management announced the closure over social media and in a note attached to their front door after five years of operation.
Customers shared their sympathy on social media for the abrupt closure of the Thayer Street favorite.
The restaurant said customers with gift cards should visit their Brookline, Massachusetts, store or upcoming locations.
Management further thanked their customers, saying, “We have enjoyed serving all of you.”
