Providence Say 2 Men Shot Sunday Morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Two men have been wounded in separate shootings in South Providence.

Police say the shootings occurred 90 minutes apart, and they are trying to determine if they are related.

Police found the first victim suffering from a leg wound at about 2:30 a.m. The second shooting was reported on Ahsmont Street just before 4 a.m.

Police say that victim was taken by a private vehicle to the hospital. Police did not say where he had been wounded. Neither injury is considered life threatening.

The names of the victims have not been released. No arrests have been made.
