Providence Sky Chiefs Beat Baltimore Hawks To Win ABA Regional Championship In Inaugural Season

PROVIDENCE, RI – Jamal Wilson poured in a game-high 33 points and led the #8 Providence Sky Chiefs to a thrilling 107-100 overtime victory over #5 Baltimore Hawhks in the 2015 ABA Regional Championship today at Brown University’s Pizzitola Center. Wilson, the former University of Rhode Island star, was a perfect 16-for-16 from the foul line and was named the ABA Regional Championship Most Valuable Player.

Wilson was one of four Sky Chiefs in double figures. Former San Diego State star Kelvin Davis chipped in with 15. Providence’s Mark Alexander and former URI standout Orion Outerbrige both added 14.


The Sky Chiefs, playing in their inaugural season in the 76-team ABA, advance to the 2015 ABA Championship, April 6-13 in Shreveport, LA.
