Providence woman admits to receiving, storing narcotics through UPS, FedEx shipments
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — United States District Attorney Zachary Cunha said a Providence woman admitted to participating in narcotic operation by receiving and storing UPS and FedEx packages with drugs in them.
Court documents said 42-year-old Rosangeles Bueno admitted that over a six-week period in early 2022, she received and stored multiple packages that contained 2.23 kilograms of fentanyl and multiple quantities of cocaine.
Bueno admitted that she regularly communicated with co-conspirators about shipments of drugs and the materials used to package and distribute narcotics.
Officials said she pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine.
Bueno is scheduled to be sentenced in September. Authorities said her sentences will be determined after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
