PVDFest Sunday night events cancelled due to rain
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Brett Smiley said that all PVDFest events for Sunday are cancelled due to storms and lightning.
Smiley added that flash flood warnings are also in place.
“Festival goers are recommended to use caution when driving home and to avoid all streets that are flooded,” he said.
UPDATE: Due to ongoing lightning and flash flooding in the area all festival programming has been CANCELLED for today. PLEASE NOTE flash flood warnings are still in place.
