Questions remain surrounding shooting of 14-year-old Fall River boy
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River community is shaken after a teenager was taken into custody for the shooting of a 14-year-old last week.
The disturbing scene happened Thursday night at the Maple Gardens housing development.
Neighbors told ABC 6 News that the boy, 14, was walking his dog at about 8 p.m. when he was shot in the face.
He was rushed to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries. He was currently stable.
Police said on Friday that a 17-year-old boy was arrested was facing charges.
Neither of their names were released.
The circumstances of the shooting have not been released.
Police initially told ABC 6 the shooting “likely did not occur in the manner in which it was initially reported to police.”
