Quiet week for the most part; MDW looking good

Projections remain on track for a nice Memorial Day weekend, but first thing’s first.

Seasonable and  comfortable conditions are expected for the remainder of the work week with one small hiccup.

Hazy sunshine is once again expected Wednesday, with slightly warmer temperatures than we saw today.

A cold front approaches by the evening and will bring some showers to the region. It will drop temperatures back into the 60s on Thursday, but we will slowly build back through the 70s into the holiday weekend, culminating near 80 by Memorial Day.

Strong high pressure will build in behind the cold front and keep any storms away for the weekend. An area of low pressure looks to develop off the Carolinas later in the week, but the high will prevent anything more than some extra clouds for Sunday and Monday.

Have a great rest of your Tuesday!
