PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- All state-run Covid-19 testing sites in Rhode Island are closed Monday, October 12 for the Columbus Day holiday.

This includes all of the dedicated K-12 sites, as well as the Rhode Island Convention Center, the Cumberland and Newport Stop & Shop testing sites, and the Block Island Fire and Rescue Barn.

They’ll be back open for normal hours on Tuesday.

There also will not be an update to the Covid-19 data on Monday.  That will happen on Tuesday too.

Also, the K-12 testing site on Dexter Street in Pawtucket is moving.  It’s relocating to 354 Pine Street in Pawtucket. It will open on Tuesday as well.
