Raccoon tests positive for rabies in Coventry

Coventry Police has issued a warning Friday, after a raccoon tested positive for rabies.

According to police, the raccoon had been in contact with dogs in the area of Sharon Drive.

The Department of Health confirmed the raccoon tested positive for rabies and this has prompted police to alert pet owners to check their animals for rabies.
