Raging fire destroys popular Webster restaurant

WEBSTER, MASS. (WLNE)- Crews battled a raging fire that destroyed a popular Webster restaurant overnight.

Intense flames broke through the roof just before 2 a.m. at Wind Tiki Chinese Restaurant on Thompson Road.

The Webster Fire Department called for mutual-aid to help put out the four-alarm fire.

The Chinese restaurant has been a staple in the town of Webster for decades.

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
