Railroad bridge over I-95 in Warwick removed

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that the old railroad bridge over Interstate 95 in Warwick was removed.
The department shared photos from the final stage of removing the rusted and unused bridge that show two cranes and other heavy equipment removing it from over the interstate.
Photos shared from after the removal of the bridge show an open highway with the pillars it used to rest on still standing.
