Record-Setting Brown QB Perry Reflects On NFL Draft Process

E.J. Perry transferred to Brown University to Boston College in 2019.

That Fall, the quarterback set the single season total offense record for the Ivy League.

He followed that up with a 2021 season that earned him the Bushnell Cup as the Ivy’s Offensive Player of the Year.

After those two standout seasons on the East Side of Providence, the pros took notice. Perry was invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl and NFL Draft Combine in March.

This weekend, Perry has a chance to be the first QB drafted out of the Ivy League since Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2005.

ABC6 Sports Director Nick Coit sat down recently with the Bears signal caller to reflect on the process and his Brown career.
