Record Warm Friday
A week after being thrust into the icebox of record low temperatures and dangerously cold wind chills last Friday, we are looking at the complete opposite for tomorrow. Today’s cloud and shower-maker is a warm front. Temperatures will rise overnight to 50 by daybreak Friday. Any clouds in the morning will clear to sunny skies and air will move in from the southwest, All of these warm elements will combine to bring high temperatures near 60. The current record high for Friday is 56 from 1990. It will also be quite breezy tonight through Friday with occasional gusts of 30+ mph. Cooler and more seasonable temperatures settle in for the weekend and Monday with highs in the 40s. By Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, temperatures are back up to 50.
