Red Sox Send Atchison, Bowden, And Others To PawSox

RED SOX ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES

 

BOSTON, MA—The Red Sox today announced that they have reassigned four players to minor league camp and optioned right-handed pitchers Scott Atchison and Michael Bowden and outfielder Ryan Kalish to Triple-A Pawtucket.

 

The announcements were made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein.

 

Among the reassigned players are right-handed pitcher Brandon Duckworth and left-handed pitchers Rich Hill, Andrew Miller and Randy Williams.

 

With today's moves, the Red Sox now have 33 players in Big League Camp, including 29 players from the 40-man roster and four non-roster invitees.
