In order for Hayward to get paid top dollar and become a Pacer, he will need to be signed by the Celtics, then traded to Indiana. The Boston Globe reports that the C’s are involved in trade talks with the Pacers.

According to the Globe, Boston is asking for forward Myles Turner and either guard Victor Oladipo or forward TJ Warren. The Pacers are offering Turner and wing Doug McDermott.
