Republican National Committee spokesperson responds to VP Harris’ visit to RI

Instead of touring the country, touting President Biden's nearly $2 Trillion American Jobs Plan, Republicans want to see the Vice President go to the Southern Border and address the crisis there.

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – A spokesperson for the Republican National Committee responded to Vice President Kamala Harris’ Wednesday visit to Rhode Island Wednesday.

Instead of touring the country, touting President Biden’s nearly $2 Trillion American Jobs Plan, Republicans want to see the Vice President go to the Southern Border and address the crisis there.

“There’s a crisis at the border,” RNC spokesperson Paris Dennard said. “It’s a humanitarian crisis, a national security crisis and a health crisis. And yet, Vice President Harris refuses to go down and visit the border. Instead of holding a press conference, Vice President Harris wants to travel the country go to places like Rhode Island and sell the American people or try to sell the American people on this so-called infrastructure plan.”

Dennard also went on to call the American Jobs Plan a “Democratic Wish List.”
