Reward for information surrounding missing Warwick woman raised to $20K
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The family of a missing Warwick woman has raised the reward to anyone with information surrounding her disappearance.
Charlotte Lester, 44, was last seen around Post Road on May 16.
Lester is described as a white woman with a slim to medium build. She’s 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown eyes. Investigators said Lester often wore wigs because she has alopecia.
A $15,000 reward was initially offered for the arrest of anyone responsible for her disappearance or her safe return. In a Facebook post Tuesday, her brother Mark Lester said that reward has been raised to $20,000.
This comes three days after a search for Lester in a wooded area near Kent Hospital. Investigators confirmed that “articles of interest” were found.
Anyone with information on Lester’s whereabouts should call the Warwick Police Department at 401-468-4200.
