Rhode Island Department of Health reports 121 new cases of COVID-19, 3 new fatalities

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health has released the latest COVID-19 data.

RIDOH is reporting 121 new positive cases with a 1.5% positivity rate. The Health Department reports 8,234 tests were taken on Tuesday.

Three new fatalities were reported, totaling to 1,102 COVID-19 deaths in the state.

82 people are currently hospitalized, 10 are in ICU, and 7 are on a ventilator.

Rhode Island Govenor Gina Raimondo and and Health Director Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott will speak live at 1 p.m. on Wednesday to provide their weekly COVID-19 update.
