Rhode Island hoopers play for a cause in A Shot For Life Challenge
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE)- Rhode Island’s best high school players in the state gathered at Saint George’s School in Middletown Saturday for the first ever, A Shot for Life Challenge.
A basketball tournament that raises money for cancer research.
A highly touted shooting challenge determines the best shooter in the state as players take part in various shooting challenges over a 2-hour period.
In order to compete, players had to be recruited, interviewed and raise money for The Mass General Hospital Cancer Center.
