Gun Rally

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island’s House Judiciary Committee will vote on three gun control measures Thursday.

One bill would raise the age to buy gun and ammunition from 18 to 21-years-old.

Another bill would make it illegal to have a loaded shotgun or rifle in public.

The third would make it a felony to own semi-automatic firearm magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

That meeting starts at 3 p.m. at the State House.
