Rhode Island Lottery Launches iLottery

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Rhode Islanders now have a new way to play lottery games.

The Rhode Island Lottery announces iLottery.

Players can register for a free VIP+ Purchase Power account, or on the Lottery’s new mobile app, to play Keno and eInstants from anywhere in Rhode Island.

“We’re pleased to offer the ability for players to buy and play Keno and eInstants from their computers or mobile devices,” said Gerald Aubin, Rhode Island Lottery Director.  “This will be a great convenience for players and will generate additional revenue for our state.”

The virtual Keno game is the same game offered at retail locations. Players can place wagers, watch draws live, and can even save their favorite wagers for future play.

The eInstant player can choose from several games, such as Multiply the Cash, Texas Hold ‘Em, Emoti Collect, and Pink Diamond Crossword. Prize payouts remain similar to the instant games sold at retail locations.

eInstant games can be played at $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, or $20 price point.

After players create their VIP+ Purchase Power account, they can link their bank account to deposit funds to begin playing. Prizes under $600 will be deposited automatically into the player’s account. Any prize $600 and above must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters.

Deposit limits and session time limits are available to players as part of the lottery’s Play Responsibly Program.

All players must be at least 18-years-old and pass a “Know Your Customer” verification process to open a VIP+ Purchase Power account. Anyone looking to play must be physically located in Rhode Island in order to access their wallet and/or place wagers.
