Rhode Island, Parts of MA and CT Under Flood Watch
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Rhode Island.
The flood watch is in effect until this evening.
Meteorologists predict a half to three-quarters of an inch of rain.
Kent and Providence counties and the northern portion of Washington County are also under an urban and small stream flood advisory.
That means residents should be careful of elevated water levels at streams and rivers and ponding.
