Rhode Island reports 119 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death for Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 119 new COVID-19 cases and one death on Tuesday.

That brings Rhode Island to 18,725 cumulative confirmed cases and 1,005 deaths.

RIDOH recorded 3,733 COVID-19 tests on Monday with a percent positive rate of 3.2%.

There are 68 people in the hospital, 10 people are in the ICU, and 7 require a ventilator.

The 3-day average of people hospitalized in Rhode Island is 69, according to state health data.
