RI Audubon Society announces ‘Birds & Brews’ event for ‘Raptor Weekend’

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Anyone interested in getting up close and personal with owls, hawks and falcons can do so in September.
The Audubon Society of Rhode Island announced they’re hosting a “Birds and Brews” event in partnership with Proclamation Ale Co.
The event will be held at Proclamation’s brewery in Warwick on September 8 and feature live music, local brews and the chance to meet some of the Audubon Society’s Owls and Hawks.
Tickets for the “Birds and Brews” event are $30 per person and attendees must be 21-years or older.
The society will also hold a “Raptor Weekend” event at their Nature Center and Aquarium in Bristol on September 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Experts from across the Northeast will bring a wide variety of birds to the largest raptor celebration in New England.
Those in attendance can see live raptor presentations, attend educational programs and activities for bird enthusiasts of any age.
