PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A special Easter egg hunt took place at the State House the Thursday before Easter for visually-impaired kids.

This event was made possible by the Rhode Island bomb squad.

Last week bomb technicians spent their days creating beepers and planting them inside of plastic Easter eggs.

Those eggs were brought to the State House and scattered across the lawn for more than 50 visually-impaired kids to find, by following the sound.
