RI drivers among the worst in the nation

Rhode Island drivers still rank among the worst in the country says the Allstate Insurance Best and Worst Drivers report.

Providence drivers ranked third worst in the country according to the new survey. This ranking means Rhode Island drivers have gotten worse since 2012 when they were ranked the fourth worst in the nation.

According to the study, the average Providence driver experiences an automobile accident once every 5.4 years.

Ranking as the best drivers in the nation were people in Fort Collins Colorado were the average driver experiences a collision every 13.9 years.
