RI Gas Prices Drop

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – Gas prices in Rhode Island have fallen four cents since last week.
      AAA of Southern New England said Tuesday the average cost for agallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.54.
      That price represents a 20-cent drop from last month's prices. Rhode Islanders are still paying more for gas than the national average, which is $3.39 per gallon.
      A year ago at this time the state's average price per gallon was $2.80 – 4 cents lower than the latest numbers.
      AAA said statewide they found a gallon of regular gasoline selling for as little $3.42 and for as much as $3.84.
