RI MA Gas Prices Slip, Following Trend

For the first time in about a month, the average gas prices in Rhode Island and Massachusetts have dropped.

Rhode Island's average price for a gallon of regular, self-serve, is down three cents from last week, to $3.82. Massachusetts' average price dropped two cents to $3.73 per gallon.

AAA officials say that the local price drops mirror the national trend, of falling oil prices.

Both prices are above the national average price, which is $3.65.
