RI reports 288 new COVID-19 cases, four deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers on Tuesday.
288 new positive cases were reported, along with four fatalities.
The Department of Health says that 8,031 tests were taken on Monday, with a positivity rate of 3.6%.
There are currently 168 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. 14 people are on ICU and eight are on a ventilator.
Rhode Island has totaled 31,445 total positive COVID-19 cases and 1,188 total fatalities.
