RI schools cancelling afterschool activities Wednesday due to predicted heavy rain

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Some schools in Providence County have cancelled afterschool activities for students in preparation for predicted severe weather.

The following schools have announced they will not be holding any afterschool services:

  • Providence Public Schools
  • Pawtucket Public Schools

The schools have announced the cancellation of afterschool activities ahead of predicted heavy rains.

This list will be updated as schools announce their plan for dismissal.
