RI state beaches to open at full capacity in the Summer of 2021

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – State beaches in Rhode Island will be opening with no capacity limits during the Summer of 2021.

Scarborough North and Roger Wheeler State Beach will open on May 15.

Then starting on Memorial Day Weekend all state beaches will open at full capacity.

State health officials say masks will still be required in crowded areas like concession stands and restrooms.
