PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Vegan Restaurant Week is in full force as thirty restaurants from all over the state showcase the vegan culinary scene that continues to expand in the Ocean State.

This is the fourth edition of Restaurant Week. It runs from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6.

The event that runs over two full weekends is one of just a handful of events around the country that showcases the variety of vegan dining options at many different types of restaurants around the state.

It was first created in 2019 with a goal to expand awareness for both diners and restaurateurs while identifying the vast options in our own backyard.

Participating restaurants will offer a variety of vegan, and some gluten free options that will include: Indian, Soul Food, Jamaican, Greek, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, juices, health food, American comfort food and plenty of desserts.
