Ribbon Cutting Ceremony set for Veterans Memorial Cemetery

EXETER, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on December 16.

The ceremony will be dedicating a set of columbarium walls and will help extend the life of the cemetery for decades.

Governor McKee along with Rhode Island’s Gold Star Families, federal, state, and local officials will join together to recognize, during this holiday season, the service and sacrifice of those both in the military and their families.

The ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 301 South County Trail.
