RIDOH announces 139 positive COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health announced on Thursday that the state recorded 139 new positive COVID-19 cases and 4 deaths.

There were 9,727 tests administered the prior day.

These new numbers bring the state’s total to 24,311 positive cases and 1,106 fatalities.

Rhode Island has administered 717,047 total tests.

At this time, the distribution of infections is 55% female cases and 45% male.
