RIDOH announces 7 new deaths and 316 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health released a statement Sunday afternoon releasing updated COVID-19 numbers for the state.

RIDOH announced an additional 316 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s count to 2,665.

7 additional COVID-19 associated fatalities were announced, bringing the state’s death count to 63.

Two people were in their 60’s, two people in their 70’s, two people in their 80’s and one person in their 90’s who passed away.

Currently 201 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Rhode Island.
