RIDOH expands access to rapid tests and vaccines

Rhode Islanders Wait In Line Up To 10 Hours For Covid Test

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Gov. Dan McKee and RIDOH are expanding the public’s access to rapid tests and vaccines, RIDOH announced Monday.

A new testing site opened on Monday at Chapel View Shopping Center in Cranston. The site will be open seven days a week for rapid testing. Test are only available by appointment.

The department said that additional testing sites will open in the coming weeks.

RIDOH has also given 100,000 self tests to community partners throughout the Ocean State.
