RIDOH recommends closing Conimicut Point Beach for high bacteria levels
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health announced Tuesday that its recommending Conimicut Point Beach be closed for swimming.
The department said the water at the popular swimming spot tested for high bacteria levels.
Officials said the department of health will continue to monitor the quality of the water and release changes as new data becomes available.
