RIDOH reports 10 additional COVID-19 related deaths and 240 new positive cases Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The RIDOH released new numbers Sunday morning.

Reports reveal another 10 COVID-19 related deaths and 240 new positive cases of COVID-19 for the state.

12,674 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Rhode Island since the pandemic began and 499 deaths have been attributed to the virus.

On Saturday, the state tested 4,070 people, and throughout the pandemic 112,550 tests have been conducted.

260 people are currently hospitalized in the state. 64 are in the ICU and 45 are on a ventilator.

Monday restaurants begin to reopen for outdoor dining and Gov. Raimondo is set to provide the state with her press briefing at 1:00 p.m.
