RIDOH reports 102 new COVID-19 cases, 11 deaths on Thursday

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH)  has reported 102 new COVID-19 cases and 11 deaths for Thursday.

RIDOH recorded 2,930 tests on Wednesday.

Rhode Island’s COVID-19 death toll is now at 823.

Hospitalizations remain steady at 146. There are 26 people in the ICU and 16 require a ventilator, according to state health data.

Rhode Island has had 15,862 COVID-19 cases throughout the pandemic thus far. RIDOH says they have tested 187,803 people.

Gov. Gina Raimondo will not hold a COVID-19 media briefing Thursday. Her next one is scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m.
