RIDOH reports 110 new COVID-19 cases, 2 additional deaths Thursday

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 110 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths on Thursday.

There were 5,087 tests recorded on Wednesday with a percent positive rate of 2.2%.

The state’s death toll is now at 1,014 and 19,611 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since March.

There were also 20 new cases added to the state’s total of confirmed cases on Thursday from previous days due to a delay in data collection.

There are 83 people currently in Rhode Island’s hospitals with COVID-19, 11 are in the ICU, and 4 people on a ventilator, according to RIDOH data.
